Move Forward Despite Fear

Fear has this way of holding us back, of creating pause, and to give opportunity for reflection. Over the last two years, I have been thinking about becoming a teacher on Insight Timer. It's my favorite app and has been ever since I was introduced to it in 2016. I remember being in shock of all the access to the amazing teachers and recordings when I first joined. At that time, being a teacher hadn't even crossed my mind.

Then, a couple of years ago, the possibility of teaching was present. I had met a few people who were teachers and noticed some friends were starting to lead guided meditations. The idea to teach on that platform was scary--What if my people couldn't find me? What if I didn't upload it right or misspeak on the recording? What if I can't find the right music to accompany my words?

I was afraid; so, I took action.

At the end of last year, I bought a microphone and set the goal to submit 1 offering by the end of 2023. My Inner Knowing over the last 2 months has reminded me of this goal and the great opportunity it could be. I've been asking for a larger platform and Insight Timer already has an audience who cares about spirituality and mindfulness. It seems as though the time is now.

I'm writing this email to make progress and try something new despite my fears. I hope that my openness inspires you too.
